MedPro Healthcare Staffing’s philanthropic organization, MedPro Gives, is pleased to announce its $1805 charitable donation to Parkland Cares. Every month, MedPro Healthcare Staffing sponsors a charity for its “Cocktails for Charity” Friday happy hour initiative. Employees can donate or purchase one happy hour drink toward the chosen charity of the month.
Parkland Cares was founded in honor of all those impacted by the 2018 Parkland tragedy. The organization funds local non-profits in South Florida that provide mental health services to those impacted by trauma.
After the 2018 tragedy, Howard Dvorkin launched Parkland Cares to provide mental health counseling and therapy for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students, teachers, staff, and members of the surrounding community recovering from the tragedy. In 2021, Parkland Cares expanded its outreach to local non-profits providing mental health services throughout South Florida and recently reached the milestone of $1 million in grant funding.
