MedPro Healthcare Staffing’s philanthropic organization, MedPro Gives, is pleased to announce its $1,800 charitable donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities South Florida®. Each month, MedPro Healthcare Staffing sponsors a charity for its’ “Cocktails for Charity” Friday happy hour initiative. Each employee can freely donate or purchase one happy hour drink toward the charity of the month.
The first Ronald McDonald house opened in 1974, with the Ronald McDonald House Charities officially established as a non-profit organization in 1984. On August 15, 1982, the Ronald McDonald House of South Florida was established. Jackson Memorial Hospital graciously donated the land to make this program possible. Currently, there are more than 310 Ronald McDonald Houses that provide over 6,000 families a comfortable and supportive living environment to ensure family is close by to focus on the health of their child during hospitalization.
