Dallas is known for many things: Reunion Tower, southern hospitality, the Dallas Cowboys, and the birthplace of the frozen margarita machine. However, MedPro International Explorers are finding “Big D,” the perfect city to achieve their American Dream. Dallas is the ninth-largest city in the country. However, it’s affordable and less expensive than most metropolitan areas, with no state income tax. Dallas’s booming job market was ranked the 10th best city for jobs and careers.

Dallas has a subtropical climate with hot and humid summers and occasional snow in the winter. The city is 385 square miles, so get ready to drive or use public transportation to get around.

The major industries driving Dallas’ economy are information technology, financial services, healthcare, and defense. Top employers include Texas Instruments, Baylor University Medical Center, AT&T, and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

DART Dallas Area Rapid Transportation bus and rail lines provide service across the Dallas metro area, including the Dallas Hospital District.

Dallas-Fort Worth International is the second-largest airport in the U.S. and was recently named the “Best Airport in North America” by the Airports Council International. With non-stop flights to top U.S. destinations such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Miami and international locations such as Europe, Canada, and Japan.

Dallas Mavericks Watch one of the best players in the league, Luka Dončić, lead the Mavs against the NBA’s top contenders.

Arts District Visit 20 square blocks and 68 acres of art in the heart of downtown. From the Dallas Museum of Art and the Crow Museum of Asian Art to murals and outdoor sculptures, Dallas is a hub of creativity.
