Transportation 

Palm Tran Jupiter and all of Palm Beach County are  car friendly, but Explorers still have the option to travel throughout the county using Palm Tran, the local public service. Explorers can also use the Tri-Rail or Brightline to travel to neighboring counties and Orlando.

Palm Beach International Airport PBI has daily nonstop flights to New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, and more.

 

Top Attractions
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse was opened in 1860 and is made of brick and oyster shells.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum Climb 105 feet to the top of one of the oldest and most iconic landmarks in Palm Beach County. Take a tour of the lighthouse and grounds and get a picture-perfect sunset selfie.

Shopping Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Van Cleef & Arpels, shop all of your favorite designers on Worth Ave, just a short drive south in Palm Beach. Explorers can find a larger variety of goods at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.

Norton Museum of Art Founded in 1941, the museum has 8,200 works in its permanent collection and features exhibits from famous painters, photographers, sculptors, and more such as Frida Kahlo and Jackson Pollock.

The Breakers Palm Beach The Breakers has entertained celebrities and the elite since railroad tycoon Henry Flagler opened the extravagant hotel at the height of the Gilded Age. From the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts to Sir Elton John and Sofia Vergara, the Breakers is known as a destination for relaxing in style.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center rehabilitates loggerhead, green, leatherback, and hawksbill sea turtles.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center Visit this one-of-a-kind nonprofit facility dedicated to ocean and sea turtle conservation. Get up close to sea turtles and hatchlings in rehabilitation and tour the center.

Peanut Island Grab your beach bag and head to this 80-acre tropical park for swimming, boating, kayaking, snorkeling, and more. The park also has campsites for Explorers looking to spend a night under the stars.

Palm Beach International Polo Season Watch top-level polo competition from January through April at the National Polo Center in nearby Wellington.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park Paddle the Loxahatchee River, go horseback riding, or hike a nature trail. Jonathan Dickinson State Park is the largest state park in Southeast, Florida, with “sixteen distinct natural communities.”

Manatee Lagoon Open daily during manatee season, November – March, manatees gather in the lagoon to swim in the warm water discharge created by a nearby power plant. There is also a center with exhibits on the manatees and other inhabitants of South Florida’s waters.

Flagler Museum Stroll the manicured grounds and tour the home of one of Florida’s most well-known former residents. Henry Flagler’s Gilded Age estate, Whitehall, is a National Historic Landmark and a must-see for Florida residents and visitors.
