University of Wisconsin-Madison is the official state university, Marquette University is a highly-ranked Catholic university in Milwaukee, and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is the top-ranked school for nursing degrees.
Transportation
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is the largest airport in Wisconsin, with 30 plus non-stop destinations, including Orlando, Cancun, and Las Vegas. Dane County Regional Airport in Madison flies to New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, Las Vegas, and more. Public transportation is available in the majority of the state, connecting counties. Amtrack also provides rail service.

Beaches Believe it or not, Wisconsin is loaded with beaches. North Beach on Lake Michigan in Racine was designated a “Blue Wave Beach” awarded to clean and responsibly managed beaches and is open for swimming, fishing, and picnics.
