Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Rickayla Watson wants all foreign-educated healthcare professionals to know that the ‘American Dream’ is still very much alive. The University of Alabama alumnus, with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, wants potential MedPro International ‘Explorers’ to remember why they have decided to take the journey.
“If you put forth a positive attitude and work hard, anything is possible,” said Watson. “The best part about being a part of this company is that you will never feel alone. We will always be here for you.”
The licensure guide helps international nurses garner approval to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). A typical day will find her scheduling the exams and registering nurses for ATTs, submitting state board applications, processing background reports.
“The most rewarding aspect of my position is in helping international nurses launch their new careers and lives in the U.S.,” Watson said. “That is where the MedPro Experience comes in, being able to achieve your dreams and strive for goals, while having us there, side-by-side, every step of the way.”
